В июле состоялась вторая выставка конкурс клуба деловых женщин, на этот раз она называлась  «Женщина и море»- победителем стал Леонид Шилов, третья премия Л.Нестеренко, специальные призы от ЧМП, участники: В.Чернов, О.Стайков, А.Лекомцев, А.Малик, Л.Нестеренко, Н.Прокопенко, Е.Ильичева, А.Мельник, А.Шопин, Э. Пороник, А.Шкуропат.

Несмотря на то, что галерея расположилась в самом центре Одессы, рядом с гостиницей Лондонская и другими примечательностями города, сказать, что сбылись надежды художников на массовое посещение  галереи и приобретение их работ иностранцами не сбылись. А вот матрешки и другие сувениры привлекали туристов и гостей города. 
В то время у нас была представлена необыкновенно изысканная серия матрешек  мастеров из Полтавы. Благодаря им мы подружились с капитаном военного судна Шестого американского флота и командой судна АБ Ф-3. 
Вначале знакомство произошло с офицерами, а позже они привели своего капитана. Примечательно их отношение к капитану, они сразу предложили ему стул, а сами остались стоять в его присутствии. Один из офицеров так рекламировал наш товар, что я в шутку предложила ему выступить в роли продавца. Примечательно то, что в следующем году, только прибыв в Одессу, американцы сразу пришли к нам, как старые и добрые друзья.

Gallery guests

Despite the fact that the gallery is located in the very center of Odessa, next to the Londonskaya hotel and other remarkable places of the city, to say that the artists' hopes for a massive visit to the gallery and the acquisition of their works by foreigners did not come true. But nesting dolls and other souvenirs attracted tourists and visitors.
At that time, we presented an unusually exquisite series of dolls by masters from Poltava. Thanks to them, we became friends with the captain of the warship of the Sixth American Navy and the crew of the ship AB F-3.
At first, the acquaintance happened to the officers, and later they brought their captain. Their attitude towards the captain is remarkable, they immediately offered him a chair, and they themselves remained standing in his presence. One of the officers advertised our product so much that I jokingly invited him to act as a seller. It is noteworthy that the next year when they arrived in Odessa, the Americans immediately came to us as old and good friends.
