Шура Цихович, Виктор Денисов, моделисты и музей Морского флота
В мае мы открыли выставку судомодельного клуба Альбатрос.
Шура Цихович, руководитель этого клуба имеет удивительную биографию. Она родилась на маяке, на нашем одесском маяке, ее отец, по сегодняшний день несет там свою вахту.
Сотрудничество с клубом было оправданно в ситуации развития Морской галереи. Это сотрудничество поддерживал Виктор Денисов, главный редактор журнала Судоходство. Вот и открыли мы выставку моделей судов и посвятили ее 50-летию Победы в Великой Отечественной войне.
Создание моделей это не просто хобби, хотя сегодня в магазинах продается немеренное количество конструкторов для сборки, не только судов, но и самолетов, машин и прочих транспортных средств. В то время, время сплошного дефицита, все нужно было делать своими руками. Для этого нужно было иметь необходимые знания, владение практически ювелирным мастерством, а так же неимоверное терпение!!! Сделать модель- это значит в точности повторить оригинал, все по –настоящему и по чертежам. Это я хорошо усвоила во время общения с Александром Геращенко и другими ребятами занимавшимися работой над моделями.
В прошлом году, меня попросили поработать в комиссии по определению ценности коллекции Музея Морского флота, который пострадал во время пожара. Насколько горестно было смотреть во что превратились работы мастеров судомоделирования, что честно сказать, хотелось разложить круг из останков моделей, где то в безопасном месте, что бы никто не пострадал, поставить рядом бывшего директора музея и все поджечь… Просто уверена в том. что модели не столько пострадали во время пожара, сколько пришли в негодность сгнивая в хранилищах музея. А ведь за ними стояли люди, которые всю свою душу вложили в то, что бы предоставить возможность детям и взрослым любоваться, не уходя далеко в море и не совершая путешествие в прошлое потрясающими произведениями мастеров судостроительства. Но, к сожалению, все то, что осталось лучше сжечь, чем восстановить..
А ведь раньше, прежде чем строить судно создавали макет, он строился из ценных пород дерева, с добавлением золотых и серебряных украшений, деталей из кости и других материалов. Затем его представляли специальной комиссии, и только после высочайшего утверждения строилось настоящее судно. Уже позже стали строить по чертежам и разработкам, и, несмотря на то что отечественное судостроение практически скатилось к нулю, мне приятно иностранцам посещающим галерею, говорить о том, что выйдя на порог галереи они могут увидеть яхты построенные в Украине и они сделаны на самом высоком уровне и бороздят океаны, а не только моря.
Теперь о клубе - в то время изготовление моделей было востребовано, их заказывали и приобретали на подарки, было модно дарить модели. Теперь, в городе открылось огромное количество магазинов морских сувениров, в их числе и модели яхт, конечно же, не столь качественных, но какое дело обывателям до этого… Не уверенна но, мне кажется б что теперь клуба, как такового уже нет. Попытаюсь выяснить…

Shura Tsikhovich, the head of this club has an amazing biography. She was born on a lighthouse, on our Odessa lighthouse, her father, to this day, carries his watch there.
Cooperation with the club was justified in the situation of the development of the Marine Gallery. This collaboration was supported by Viktor Denisov, editor-in-chief of the journal Shipping. So we opened the exhibition of ship models and dedicated it to the 50th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
Creating models is not just a hobby, although today an enormous number of designers for assembly, not only ships, but also aircraft, cars, and other vehicles are sold in stores. At that time, the time of continuous deficit, everything had to be done with your own hands. For this, it was necessary to have the necessary knowledge, mastery of almost jewelry skill, as well as incredible patience !!! To make a model means exactly repeating the original, all according to the present and according to the drawings. I learned this well while talking with Alexander Gerashchenko and other guys who worked on models.
Last year, I was asked to work on a commission to determine the value of the collection of the Museum of the Navy, which was damaged during the fire. How sad it was to look at what the work of masters of ship modeling turned into, to be honest, I wanted to expand the circle of the remains of models, somewhere in a safe place so that no one would be hurt, put the former director of the museum near and set fire to everything ... I’m sure of that. that the models were not so much damaged during the fire as they became unusable by decaying in the museum's vaults. But behind them stood people who put their whole soul into providing an opportunity for children and adults to admire without going far into the sea and not making a trip into the past with stunning works of masters of shipbuilding. But, unfortunately, all that remains is better to burn than to restore ..
But before, before building the ship they created a model, it was built from precious wood, with the addition of gold and silver jewelry, bone parts and other materials. Then it was presented to a special commission, and only after the highest approval was a real ship built. Later they began to build according to drawings and designs, and despite the fact that domestic shipbuilding has almost slipped to zero, I am pleased by foreigners visiting the gallery to say that when they step on the threshold of the gallery they can see yachts built in Ukraine and they are made at the highest level and plow the oceans, not just the seas.
Now about the club - at that time the manufacture of models was in demand, they were ordered and purchased for gifts, it was fashionable to give models. Now, a huge number of shops of sea souvenirs have opened in the city, including yacht models, of course, not of such high quality, but what matters to ordinary people ... I’m not sure, but it seems to me that now there is no club as such. I’ll try to find out ...
