Летом этого года нас пригласил к себе, через Виленского, начальник Одесского порта Николай Пантелеймонович Павлюк с предложением, которое мы давно ждали- перенести Морскую галерею на Морвокзал. 

Мы пришли и  вместе с ним стали стали рассматривать возможность расположения галереи. Спустились вниз, в помещение занятое шкафчиками, в которых оставляли одежду сотрудники, помещение без окон и с очень низким потолком, где предположительно могла бы разместиться по мнению Павлюка галерея, тогда я сказала Николаю Пантелеймоновичу, о том что если порт хочет иметь галерею, то и строить ее необходимо на самом высоком европейском уровне.  Именно тогда было принято решение о строительстве галереи рядом с уже начатым строительством яхтенного комплекса. Но тогда было невозможно себе представить, какую замечательную площадку получит наша Морская галерея. Сегодня я уверенна, что это время стало настоящей эпохой Ренессанса и для Морвокзала и для порта и для всей Украины. Подобного небыло нигде в мире. Огромная классная гостиница, за ней треугольные стеклянные окна, похожие на окна Лувра, галереи, с двух сторон спуск по лесенкам в замечательный яхтклуб и над всем этим Морская Арт Галерея. Таким был замысел и через несколько лет он превратился в это настоящее чудо.

In the summer of this year, Nikolai Panteleimonovich Pavlyuk, the chief of the Odesa port, invited us to his place through Vilensky, with an offer that we had been waiting a long time — to transfer the Maritime Gallery to the Sea Terminal.
We came and began to consider the possibility of arranging the gallery with Pavluk. We went downstairs to a room occupied by lockers in which employees left clothes, a room without windows and with a very low ceiling, where the gallery could presumably be located in Pavlyuk’s opinion, then I told Nikolai Panteleimonovich that if the port wants to have a gallery, then it must be built at the highest European level. It was then that the decision was made to build a gallery next to the already begun construction of the yacht complex. But then it was impossible to imagine what a wonderful platform our Marine Gallery would receive.

 Today I am sure that this time has become a real era of the Renaissance for the Sea Terminal and for the port and for the whole of Ukraine. There was no such thing anywhere in the world. A huge classy hotel, behind it there are triangular glass windows, similar to the windows of the Louvre Museum, galleries, from both sides a descent through the ladders to a wonderful yacht club and above all this the Marine Art Gallery. That was the plan, and a few years later it turned into this real miracle.
